Computes reliable seeing in your observing place from star image. This is a "doubled star" created by adding a two holes mask and optionally wedge prism at the telescope entrance pupil. 

A basic and cheap camera can be used to acquire the data, and thanks to the frame rate (up to 10 frames per second), it is possible to perform a real time analysis and compute the seeing .

UFOCaptureV2 is a time-shift-motion-detect-video-recording-software. UFOCaptureV2 runs on Windows PC, inputs video signal from general video capture devices, records movies directly to hard disk. Recording begins at a few seconds before the change on video images, and ends a few seconds after the change ends.

Typically this can be used to trace meteors or satellites in the sky. Results can then be processed with UFOAnalyzer and UFOOrbit.

UFOCaptureV2 provides functions below and enables us long term observation which is stable, efficient, and precise.
