- To calculate the position of planets and give their appearance.
- To calculate hours of Rising/Transit/Setting
- Visualization of the apparent diameter of planets ones compared to the others…
- Visualization of the position of planets on the ecliptic.
- Visualization of planets in heliocenric position.
- Positions of the satellites around Jupiter, as seen from Earth.
- Calculate the position of comets...
- Download the appearance of the sun directely on web ( SoHo ).
- And many other possibilities.....
The calculations are based on algorithms from Jean MEEUS
("Calculs Astronomiques à l'usage des amateurs") as well as personal adaptations for special events.
The accuracy is of course limited, however this accuracy is sufficient for every amateur astronomer.

Jupiter | | Description: | Jupiter 2.0 is a software for the calculation of Jupiter's satellites ephemeris, with a graphical view of the jovian system. It's based on Jean Meeus ephemeris ("Calculs Astronomiques à l'usage des amateurs" - ISBN 2-901730-03-6).
Besides a representation of Jupiter's satellites around the planet, the software shows the satellites's shadows crossing Jupiter's disk, and satellites's eclipses into Jupiter's shadow.
This software (programmed under Borland C++ Builder 6) is freeware and can be freely distributed (non-commecial way only). | | | Version: | 2.0.4.2 | | Filesize: | 1 bytes | | Added on: | 23-Aug-2004 | | Downloads: | 897 | | Rating: | 9.0 (1 Vote) | | Category: | Windows / Ephemerides - Planets | | Homepage | Rate resource | Details
Positions des satellites de Jupiter | | Description: | In 1610 Galileo discovered 4 small «stars» which turned around Jupiter. These satellites would be visible with the naked eye if Jupiter was not so close to them. Helped by this software and armed with a good pair of binoculars (or a telescope) you will be able to follow this enthralling ballet. | | | Version: | 3.5.29 | | Filesize: | 189.29 Kb | | Added on: | 09-Mar-2004 | | Downloads: | 782 | | Category: | Windows / Ephemerides - Planets | | Homepage | Rate resource | Details
Sat | | Description: | It plots monthly graphs showing the progression of the brightest satellites of Jupiter and Saturn.
The created images can be saved or printed. | | | Version: | 2.6 | | Filesize: | 294.35 Kb | | Added on: | 03-Dec-2003 | | Downloads: | 823 | | Rating: | 9.0 (1 Vote) | | Category: | Windows / Ephemerides - Planets | | Homepage | Rate resource | Details | Comments (1)
Visual Ephemeris for Uranian Moons | | Description: | This program will generate an ephemeris with the same accuracy which can be obtained from BDL's Ephemerides Server for the five major moons of Uranus. It is based on GUST86 and VSOP87C.Ura theories form the BDL FTP site which they currently use. The major difference with this software is that there are both text and graphics allowing the user to view the moons from 4700BC to at least 6000AD. The program will generate a one time view or one may select a realtime ephemeris for any date, updating every ten seconds for up to twenty-four hours. Typical accuracy is better than .01 arcsecond (typically .001) due to compiler differences. | | | Version: | 1 | | Filesize: | 274.00 Kb | | Added on: | 16-Aug-2003 | | Downloads: | 748 | | Rating: | 1.0 (1 Vote) | | Category: | Windows / Ephemerides - Planets | | Homepage | Rate resource | Details | Comments (1)
