To go along with this release of CCD Commander, there is a new "Beta" version of FocusMax available, v3.3.29. If you are interested in using the "Select Star" function of FocusMax with CCD Commander, you need to download this version of FocusMax:

Some of the new features in CCD Commander v1.4 include:

-Updated GUI

-ASCOM Mount and Dome support.

-TheSky is no longer required.

-Sub-actions are now fully editable within a single instance of CCD Commander.

-Sub-actions available to view/edit while the sub-action is running

-Fully "Windows Clipboard" aware copy/cut/paste operations. Allows actions to be moved from the main action list to sub-action lists and also other instances of CCD Commander.

-Better file name awareness. Keeps track of modified files, and unsaved sessions.

-Ability to run only selected actions (on any list/sub-list).

-Additional options in the Plate Solve action.

-FocusMax Select Star, FocusMax Acquire Star, @Focus, and @Focus2 support.

-The Edit menu is accessible by right clicking the Action List.

-Ability to disable autoguider Declination Compensation.

-Add action now puts the new action immediately after the selected action.

-Unguided dithering

-Automatic Guide star recovery in Take Image action. Dithering also continues from where it left off (when in use).

-Import Target List function (File->Import Target List menu)
