A new version of the software tp help plan visual satellite observations is out. Read on what's new...
Main changes:
1. Textured Moon.
2. Horizontal/equatorial mount.
3. Horizontal/vertical flip image.
4. Horizontal/equatorial grid.
5. Angular distance measurement (ctrl+).
6. Guiding (shift+).
7. 'Set fild of view' dialog is modified.
8. 'Set new time' dialog is modified.
9. In satellite information added fields about geometric dimensions (if corresponding data exist).
10. Satellite ephemeris calculation.
11. For faster loading star catalog format is changed (old catalogs stays supported).
12. Maximum field of view is 0.1°.
13. Some bugs fixed.
Heavensat - program for visual observing of artificial satellites. It can handle up to 10000 satellites in real time, also available horizon view, passes prediction, calculation of satellites near bright stars, Sun/Moon transits and other features, that may help you while observing of satellites.
