Moon

This was my first chance to image the Moon with my new digital camera. It ended up getting to cloudy after about 20 minutes of imaging but this is what I was able to get.

Road ahead

Just a quick word to the faithful visitor, now that 10 years have passed since the first “astrotips” page was published on the web, to let know that a major reshuffle of this site is planned to happen somewhere during first quarter 2010. Unused stuff will be dropped and we will stick strictly to the “all and only about software for amateur astronomy” motto while trying to develop a hub in line with expectable “Web 2.5” trimmings. Bear with me.

What a tremendious program for the Lunar observer. I have been using this program for quite some time, and I am always impressed with what it has to offer. Top-notch graphics, completely user-freindly, and more information than a person has a right to know....plus some!
